Romantic Healing - Sept 2025
A month with two eclipses is always going to be intense, but if you can step into the creative flow, there will be Piscean style healing of past romances and broken hearts to mend.
1st September: Saturn Retrograde Ingress Pisces
Right from the beginning, September is giving intensity. Saturn, our karmic time lord reverses back into the watery world of Pisces, where some of the emotions and processes we were once wandering about, have been left to wilt. Here we are revisiting these forgotten past events and the old wounds, yet Saturn coming back to Pisces is here to support and advise. We are going to feel resistance to these bygone emotions or dreams, like, here they are again(!!), yet this time we really do get finality, to tie them up in a neat bow, to know they are processed appropriately.
6th September: Uranus Retrogrades @ 1’ Gemini
Right before the eclipse, Uranus, crazy ass planet of surprises, plays the joker card as he starts his retrograde journey. In Gemini, all bets are off to what this action will bring about, but sure is chaotic whether Uranus is going forward OR backward. Just know that on this day, there could be a break in the matrix and new levels of communication opening up within, and also to the stars. A day to journal, meditate and watch the stars.
7th September: Lunar Eclipse @ 15’ Pisces
Although we have the precision of Virgo season, and Mercury also appears in Virgo on 2nd Sept, here comes the Pisces eclipse @ 15’, dramatically empowering our emotional repertoire in order that we look at our suffering. A Pisces eclipse may cause huge histrionics, but it’s OK, Saturn is here to catch the fall out. This is a North Node eclipse and we are deeply healing psychological issues and places where we have loved too much or felt neglected, in order to move forward. Don’t be surprised when people around you (or yourself) have outbursts or meltdowns. This is a case of better out than in. But once out of the bag, letting go of this old ‘stuff’ is key, for big shifts in mindset and miraculous healing to occur.
10th, 11th, 12th September: Virgo Sun Conjunct Mercury And South Node @ 18/19/20’
The eclipse does have a dreamy, other-worldly vibe, and we are safe to surrender to whatever weird and wonderful sensations or fantastic visions it brings. This is because, days after the eclipse, the Sun transits the South Node in honest Virgo, the place of previous held ideas, information and practises. The Sun is joining Mercury here for a few days (10th - 12th) to make a check point audit of what we have been consuming, whether that is in food, or in ideas. The Sun’s great force with the quicksilver Mercury mindset really do want to knuckle down into whatever the South Node, aka in the past, is holding, so that it can be eliminated or improved. These are great days for a clear out, whether via your wardrobe, friendships or digestive system. The future stake of the world’s health is on the cards, and we are definitely going to see some health practises fall out of fashion quite dramatically.
16th - 22nd September: Venus In Leo Sextile Mars In Libra, Yod To Saturn Rx @ 28’
Whenever Venus and Mars get together in a sextile, there is a greater chance of love being in the air. For nearly a week from 16th they are communing from Leo and Libra, two signs known for loving, and love of romance, so this stars really well for affairs of the heart and relationships. However, in sextile, they both make a quincunx to Saturn Retrograde at 28’ Pisces, so therefore a Yod aspect. This brings the spotlight to Saturn Rx in Pisces, which ensures the healing energy is thorough and long lasting, especially of long standing issues - and especially beneficial if you have planets around the last degrees of Leo, Libra or Pisces. These are the three romantics and as Saturn Rx is leading the charge, the focal point of this Yod, there will be further opportunity to heal heart breaks, emotional wounding and states of abandonment and rejections. Trust this process as this Yod aspects stays live through the eclipses.
21st September: Partial Solar Eclipse @ 29’ Virgo
There are actually three Yod aspects happening during the second eclipse of September, which are signposts for unexpected events to wake us up. The eclipse is opposite Saturn Retrograde, which is at the head of one of these Yods, thereby levelling up the seriousness of the 29’ Virgo eclipse. The 29 degree eclipse is like an ultimatum, a knife edge decision to do the right thing, no matter your feelings or misgivings. This eclipse, the second Virgo New Moon this Virgo season, is the breakthrough for truth and transparency, and this is a last chance saloon for anyone or anything who is living a lie. Be gone, ye speakers with forked tongue! Likewise, it begs for apologies and sentimental bleeding hearts to come together in union of forgiveness. At the very least, forgive yourself.
22nd September: Mars Ingress Scorpio / Equinox As Sun Ingress Libra
The Earth comes into balance for equal day and night at equinox, yet Mars entering Scorpio feels like a time to really pick up your sword, to fight the good fight. After the Virgo honesty, the forthrightness of Mars in Scorpio, with deeper insight into legal affairs, contracts and negotiations, could bring about precise developments or at least, some resolution to your affairs. Mars will allow you to act fast and assert what you need to.
to 30th September: Sky Of Squares And Oppositions
The Sun in Libra is a move for more harmonious action, yet the skies are fairly antagonistic, in a way that doesn’t give us a clear cut opponent, but does cause us to be defensive and careful. We are still in eclipse season, and there are still ardent advances to be made, and we cannot be triggered or offended by the rambunctious and boisterous situationships that are playing out.
