1st August: Mercury Cazimi @ 9’ Leo
August 1st is an extremely beneficial day where your heart is literally singing its song, and words spoken from the heart are heard in the heavens. Use it wisely. This is a miracle mindset Mercury Cazimi, and its square to the Moon in Scorpio, causes your deepest fears, traumas and desires to be within ear shot of the Gods. It is down to us, to use these magical Cazimi to uplift every fibre of our being, and upgrade our output. To get the the most of this, remember the old adage: “Speak what you seek, until you see what you said”. Miracles can and do happen.
6th August: Mars Ingress Libra
After the cleansing operation that is Mars in Virgo, the dynamic planet’s entrance into Libra will feel fresh and easy-going, giving you happy satisfaction for any hard work completed. Enjoy the enhanced play with beauty and art, but beware of the chance to get carried away with the romance of new acquaintances and interesting new projects, before you get to see the cracks in their varnish. Mars is now part of a Grand Air Trine meaning situations will move swiftly and without much encouragement, and whilst this is a largely beneficial current of new ideas and people, we do have to watch we don’t fall into delusion, or into desperation to maintain the vision of goodness. With the Sun still in Leo, there is a balance between dancing with the new fan dangled schemes and tech (such as ai), and keeping your own sense of self, with good boundaries in place.
9th August: Full Moon @ 17’ Aquarius
This Full Moon is un-aspected and therefore a stand alone event, that is a juxtaposition to the heart opening Leo season. This is the time to fly your freak flag, stir up the revolution in your soul and make a break for freedom from oppression or worn out situations. Try out a flash of your own brand of uniqueness, use this inspiration to stir your creativity which might be weird and daring, but also quite exciting. There may be surprises in store, so stand ready for the curve ball and do not resist the quirky situations as they may be the saving grace that opens doors to huge opportunity. This is a time to play your wild card, your Joker, with the idea that only fools keep repeating the same thing and expect a different outcome.
11th August: Mercury Direct @ 4’ Leo
As Mercury stations and then turns direct, the thinking planet is at the head of one of the Kites, AND the corner of a Mystic Rectangle, keeping our focus on redefining our sense of self, and ensuring our identities are not sold off to the highest bidder or the biggest mainframe server. Grand plans and huge ideas are on the table and Mercury moving forward (with the Kite and Rectangle aspects), is giving us the inspiration AND the chutzpah to over come difficult or previously impossible situations.
11th & 12th August: Venus Conjunct Jupiter @ 13’ & 14’ Cancer
The lovely Venus meeting expansive Jupiter is generally considered the lushest day of the year and now they meeting in sympathetic and caring Cancer for two days, we know we are being held in a secure and loving embrace. There is solace to be found with friends and family, and sharing your time and energy in close knit circles will pay extra dividends and could help us all rewire the part of us that has been taught money and commercial interests are what makes the world go around. The empathetic idea of family or tribe first, soul food, nurture, and loving support is taking hold, and this is a step towards resistance to global dystopia and any hard nose business deals that don’t give good returns.
19th - 21st August: Sun Trines Chiron & Forms Yod
The fiery Sun in the royal corridors of Leo, now forms an easy going trine with Chiron Rx at 26’ and then 27’ Aries, and this bolsters our understanding of our underlying emotional requirements that need healing and resolution. This might seem like selfish thinking, but do not block this significant internal dialogue with personal chastisement or attempt to pass the buck. We cannot be intimated whilst the solar force is actively encouraging our particular responsibility and growth. Step up to the challenge, as the Sun then steps on to 28’ Leo, to arrive at the head of Finger Of God/Fate Yod aspect, shining the spotlight directly upon us. We have to deliver the performance of our lives, so be glad of any recent opportunity to discharge any struggles or personal vendettas. It is show time. And the Sun will be at the head of this dynamic Yod for at least a week, forcing us to step up to the stage and sing for our proverbial supper.
23rd August: New Moon @ 00’ Virgo
Be glad of this effort to maintain your integrity as the Sun moves into Virgo on 22nd August, and the next day forms the New Moon at the zero degree point of the earthy sign of practical things. This is a clarion call for exactitude and correcting past mistakes across the board and your due diligence is important here. The Virgo New Moon joins Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, all within 1 degree of their respective signs, thrusting humanity into an exciting new era of making things right: food, health, finance, workers. Pay attention, and keep your eye on the ball. Plans are being developed that you want to be part of and information, schedules and agendas are being updated at the speed of light.
25th - 27th August: Venus Ingress Leo & Opposes Pluto Rx, Sextiles Uranus and Trines Saturn Rx & Neptune Rx
To increase this pioneering spirit even further, Venus enters Leo and stirs up the royal dust at the beginning of Leo, and this means she also stirs up all the big outer planets in their zero point new territories. A quickening throughout the zodiac occurs. Venus here magnetises the heart felt warmth and joy we should all have a chance of experiencing, and really does elevate our self-awareness in a beautiful way. We are emboldened to a higher degree of self-expression, so there might be drama, and there could be romance, and there will be heart connections. Venus is calling for us to wear the proverbial crown, to stand in our power, in alignment with our own heart and its calling.
