Hell Yeah! - May 2026
The world is changing and Uranus is blasting the door to the future right off its hinges this May, as the main planetary protagonist, newly arrived in Gemini, ready to connect the dots to everyone. Opportunities abound and even if they look a bit weird, now is the time to say yes to everything, and worry later.
1st May: Full Moon 11’ Scorpio
The Scorpio Full Moon might bring alarming situations to a head, with cringe worthy revelations. The world might be talking about dead scientists, but if 11’ Scorpio is aspecting your planets, you might be having intense moments that draw you away from every day events, and into the shadows of other people’s thoughts and underhand operations. What is being revealed now is important for what comes next and to give you the upper hand, so this will be a case of taking dark secrets in your stride.
3rd May: Mercury Ingress Taurus & Mars Square Jupiter
Mercury entering the calmer and more reliable sign of Taurus may bring the stability we all need. Only days after the Scorpio Full Moon, Mercury can settle matters that were way out of your comfort zone. Words are sweet, but Mars squaring Jupiter means emotions are at an all time high and you’ll need more proof than someone’s say so, to really understand the motives behind what just happened.
5th / 6th May: Pluto Retrograde @ 5’ Aquarius
Pluto going retrograde is taking us all on a journey to understand our role in society - and definitely not the surface level physical one Pluto rules the underworld and subconscious, so your energetic housekeeping may need looking at as you realise that whatever you think or then hide, forms part of the algorithm of the community. We are all one, and now Pluto is inviting us to take responsibility for the collective vibe, not just our own.
14th May: Mercury Conjunct Sun @ 23’ Taurus
When the planet of communication hits our vital force, the Sun, in the planet representing our bodies, the earth, our wealth, we know that whatever we say is going to manifestation right in front of us. Abracadabra. On this day, speak what you seek, until you see what you said!
16th May: New Moon @ 25’ Taurus, Mars Conjunct Chiron @ 28’ Aries
Whilst we are busy making sure our (positive) thoughts match our words, the New Moon in Taurus gives us extra support to get it right. Not only is this Taurus Full Moon comforting and reassuring, at the same time, the planet of healing, Chiron, will be conjunct Mars who revs up anything he touches and this means resolute to so many problems. There may be naysayers focusing on the Moon’s proximity to Algol, known as the ‘evilest star in the heavens’, but even her fate was to be the saviour of many. Make like the Bull in the field at this Full Moon time, and stay close to home and keep your creature comforts on tap in order to receive the blessings inherent in this lunation.
18th May: Mercury Conjunct Uranus @ 1’ Gemini
Things have changed since Uranus entered Gemini, although we may not have noticed the change in the air if we have been busy (which we have, right?). Now that Mercury joins Uranus in Gemini, the crazy fun can start as no other pair of planets puts the fizz in the frolicking like these two. Obviously the unexpected is expected, and its all we can do to not descend into chaos. If you don’t like the changes coming about, do not worry, there are other curve balls around the corner. Don’t get het up about anything, because you’re going toned to be ready and waiting when weird and wonderful opportunities show up.
20th, 21st May: Sun Ingress Gemini, Venus Squares Neptune
You are only limited by your imagination, so the saying goes. And these two days will test your creativity as doors open to new connections, fanciful ideas and perhaps a gift or two. Say ‘yes’ to the dress, say ‘yes’ to anything, as delights are ahead if you surrender to this mysterious flow.
23rd & 26th May: Sun Conjunct Uranus @ 1’ Gemini & Trine Pluto @ 5’
We will all be feeling Uranus in Gemini by now. Something in the digital world, or ai will have changed life forever and the Sun meeting Uranus and making a trine to Pluto is getting us all up to speed. Humanity is turning a corner and cannot go back - this could be exciting. Get involved. This is a chance to step up to something revolutionary, by being the early adopter and even the pioneer.
28th - 29th May: Venus Square Saturn @ 11’ and 12’
We could be getting sentimental at what once was. Our childhood maybe? An old home or friend that we grew out of. As we press forward with new life and new processes, Venus is checking in with us to ensure we ok with the onward march of progress. Are we absolutely 100% ok with leaving everything behind? Maybe not. Venus square Saturn invites us to reorganise ourselves in ways that will to suit our long term plans and keep giving us maximum satisfaction. Activating your boundaries right now is not bad thing.
31st May: Full Moon @ 9’ Sagittarius
Now we come to the last day of May, which is also a Micro Moon (the opposite of the Super Moon) and also a Blue Moon, which means it is the second Full Moon of the month. This Moon is a blessing to all the times you said ‘yes’ this month without knowing what was being offered. It is a lucky Moon, and is bound to show us how far we have come and what we have learned by being optimistic. Yet another day this month to put your best foot forward.
