Business Ready - January 2026
It seems that all the main aspects for 2026 are occurring in January as the stellium in Capricorn and its New Moon, makes sure New Year’s Resolutions have the business management acronym of SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timed.
3rd January: Full Moon @ 13’ Cancer
This ‘New Year, New You, Full Moon’ is the juxtaposition of family life coming up large and unwieldy after Christmas gatherings, and in a paradox to the intention to create a vision of the whole year and get back to work on it. It’s a stretch, but amongst the serious business, this lunation is a softening into your own care, as much as it is for others. Jupiter is augmenting the emotions here, so it might be hard to see straight or rationally, but a deepening of your emotional wisdom via the formative world that gave you a set of coping mechanisms is not bad recognition to work with and can be, ultimately, very creative and satisfying.
3rd to 10th January: Capricorn Stellium
There is a stellium moving through Capricorn from 3rd January to the 10th, whereby the Sun, Venus and Mars move as one entity from 11 to 20 degrees Capricorn. This is the cue to get stuff done, sort your finances, re-boot your career, outline your goals. Use this energy to be the motivated Capricorn goat with a mountain to climb, aiming for success and a wealth boost.
Particularly intense days are when the Sun, Venus and Mars all meet on 6th to 9th January at 16’ to 19’ Capricorn, like a double Cazimi power that means your goals and finances have to be top priority.
18th January: New Moon @ 28’ Capricorn
To emphasise the stellium in Capricorn, the New Moon delivers the money. The Sun and Moon at 28’ Capricorn are joined by Mercury and Mars, so this is a day for deals, for financial negotiations, for planning your whole life’s path ahead and making commitments to it. It is not an energy to be wasted, so we all have to think like a Capricorn, even if you can only manage it for a couple of weeks, it will bring lasting progress and perhaps be the start of an incredible empire.
20th to 27th January: Personal Planets & Sun Conjunct Pluto
On the first day of Aquarius season (20th January), Venus makes a conjunction with Pluto at 3’ Aquarius. Often this means a entrance for obsessive or fated love, and in Aquarius we could see fascination with new social constructs, or people with progressive ideas taking our attention.
Following this, Mercury, the Sun, and then Mars all transit Pluto, the dark lord of the underworld, from the 22nd to 27th.
Make no mistake, this repeated conjunction involving all the personal planets with dark power Pluto will be the motivation for each of us to understand in our own way, how we must evolve, to see the bigger picture of our mission or karma here on earth, and how that connects to our social agreement. This is not for the faint hearted and perhaps historical evidence or cosmic secrets will be revealed for a powerful reckoning.
25th January: Neptune Ingress Aries
In the middle of the Pluto conjunctions, and perhaps helping us to hold tight to our people, our tribe and our ideas about who we are, Neptune the planet of delusion, enters a brand new orbit of the zodiac. Dearest Neptune, our planet of delusion, the dissolving factor, the spiritual essence, finally moves into Aries, the fire of the ego. This is a phenomenal change in mood, and one that will be augmented when Saturn joins Neptune on Valentine’s Day. Our dreams, they are a changing, our religions and spiritual senses are going to be the focus, and we are going to have to fight for the freedom to feel into our own inner life and express those propositions, even if it means going against pre-conceived or mainstream programming.
